35D performace options...
I have a little over 1000 miles now and want to order the JBD. Is that enough miles? Also are there any other mods available? Downpipes, exhaust, etc for the 35D.
Thanks, VA |

I'd wait another thousand miles or so. Not that anything will be affected, but it is good to ensure your engine is "reliable" before you start tweaking things. I have only heard of the performance chip.

Let me know if you want the JBD for $250 shipped. Bought mine a month ago, and my car is being traded in for a '12.
Performance-wise, I find it a huge difference. Took like 4 days before it adapted but when it did, you can definitely feel more power. I have it at 60-70% boost. Will probably try 100% this weekend and a code will probably be thrown. |

JBD is great addition to the diesel. I have it on 100% right after my 1200ml break-in, so far so good. Not as huge difference in power added as felt on my previous 335i with tune, but feels good non the less on that heavy truck. I also dropped the K&N air filter in, the stock on is very restrictive imo.

Lol, I've had the K&N for a few weeks now and can't figure out how to get it in. Got the engine cover off. Do I need to unscrew the inlet hose on the left or something?
Thanks, VA |

Undo those clips on the driver side first and some near the front cowl. Then undo two silver torx screws on the passenger side of the engine that holds the inlet pipe in place, pull on the pipe to extract it from the air box, then pull up on the air box cover and swap the filter.
