How far ta da Curb?
The wife curbed the driver front wheel.....!... I didn't wanna look at it for the next 8 yrs...So ordered a new one.(20" style 336-$530 with bmwcca discount...nice!) She's always very careful, funny part was...she was re-adjusting her parking job...trying to maximise the distance on the car to the right...Actually, she was more upset than I.( I was thinking...thank god it wasn't me!)
Took it in to have it replaced....and "The mechanic curbed the passenger front on the lift arm". WTF over! They ordered another one. I'm gonna see if I can get my hands on the damaged one on the cheap! |

You have to be super careful with these 336's especially with the machined finish on the face (can't paint over it). Lips can get easily damaged when mounting and unmounting tires too if installer doesn't know what he's doing.

I'm a little out of the loop on the 336's, but are they available now? They were unavailable for several months earlier this year. I've got the 19" 335 wheels but I'd like to get a set of 20" for summer and use the others for winter tires.
Thanks. |

What I can't put my finger on is why the parts guy always said, (for the first two)..." they show none in germany and no date when their expected to be in the states". When I finally recieved them they say "United States" cast into the back side??? |
