2012 BMW X5 Fog Light Assembly Removal

I've been looking on the internet and google on how to remove the fog light assembly on a 2012 BMW X5. Found some write ups but no pics or videos.

Made a video to make it more helpful for those who wanted to try so that the dealer doesn't charge you something ridiculous.

Great guide! I've actually done this already to make the fogs match with the headlights than having it yellow.

What lights are you replacing with? I looked around in December but had trouble finding a clean solution to match the fogs with the LCI headlights.

I went to one of my mechanic/mod shop and they were able to help me order in 2 sets of Lumens LED H11 Fog Bulbs. Forgot the part number but its a bit bluer than the eyes.

Did you need to use resistors and heat sinks?

Nope, just plug and play, took less than 10 mins to install, charged me no labor. Had them on for a good 4 months, no problem.

KayTee's solution is just replacing the stock bulb with a white light bulb. Bluedragon's solution is replacing the whole fog light housing which is more involved than changing a light bulb. I actually will be just changing the light bulb to a more yellow light in the future. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
