Reaf Roof Spoiler & Rear Lip Spoiler
I can't believe I am doing this already, but i really like the look of these on the X6s that I have seen. Any advice on how I go about purchasing this and which sites/ manufacturers to use. I have seen this site: http://www.carid.com/bmw-x6-spoiler/ but I don't think they have the 2013 colors. Here is a picture of what I like.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The rear spoilers are available from several different sites. It all depends on how much you want to spend. If you want same color as your vehicle, I suggest you buy unpainted and have it matched by a local body shop with dealer paint |

yup... I just don't know if the Spoilers made for the '12 fit the '13 models. Also, if anyone has good experience purchasing from a website I would appreciate a good recommendation.

Mac, it looks good but I don't like Chinese and Taiwanese products.
Some companies in USA have designers. They designed and printout with 3D printers which is very expensive printer. If it fits well, they send it China or Taiwan to make it. The product will fit fine but I'm not sure about its quality. If Chinese or Taiwanese company designed and make it, it is horrible. Your X6 is over $70k. You better stay with high quality products. It is just my opinion. |

Anything that fits the 2012 will fit the 2013. However if it's aftermarket and not OEM from BMW there will be slight fit issues. They are attached with bonded adhesive and the spoilers are flexible. Take it to a good body shop or the dealer and they will fit it for you. I wouldn't advise drilling any holes

I agree. I went to BMW USA and there weren't any products for the 2013 yet. Now that I know the '12 parts can fit the '13, I can go to my preferred body shop and ask then to price it out. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I still don't see a Rear Roof Spoiler in there for 2012... or for any other year! Looks like that may be an OEM purchase..

That's right.. I have seen & commented on your car additions before-- I like the how your X6 looks. Okay, so your dealer installed or did you go to local body shop? If yes, where did you do the work and how much did it cost you? I use a body shop in Queens. They also do work for Manhattan BMW.
My Wife and I are debating the look-- she likes the stock look but can appreciate the rear spoiler. She doesn't like the rear roof spoiler. I like both. Let me know the 411. M3 in your future? (Smile) Thanks! Dale

Sorry to get off topic for a bit, but I wanted to ask you about this body shop in Queens you mentioned.... have you used them on occasion? Do you recomend them for custom paint jobs? Let me know.

Sorry my man, I became a member of this forum about two years ago, so it wasn't me from the 3-series forum. I have always been a bimmer fan, but the X6 is my first and I only had it for a little over 3 years so I didn't even think about joining a BMW forum until a couple years ago. All in all this is a great place for information and sharing the experiences we have with the incredible machines we are pushing around town. As for your main topic, I do like the upper roof spoiler, I think it gives the X6 an even more aggressive profile, and with the exterior color you have, you will have one unique looking ride. Lots of X6's running around the 5 Boroughs, but I have not seen one with that spoiler yet.

The BMW dealer put on my spoilers at a reduced price because they botched my Dinan. I know a good shop in Brooklyn that can get you a deal. Culver Collission on McDonald Ave. Let me know. PM me and I'll put you in touch with my contact
