Can I change steering wheel w/airbag myself? Or do I have to go to dealer?

I want to go back to original steering wheel. I need to remove the alcantara performance steering wheel and remount the original. Can I do it myself? Or is there coding involved?? If I can do it myself, can you offer any tips/help??

no coding need, but make sure you disconnect the battery before the swap or it might trigger the airbag light.

Thanks for the info. Ends up the dealer will be doing it and I will be getting a completely new steering wheel. I won't be using it though because I was unhappy with it and instead will be using the original leather steering wheel.
