Power steering a too stiff?

Hi,
I got my X6 3.0d since August 2008 and I feel that the power steering is a little stiff when doing parking maneuvers ? is that normal ?
I don't have Adaptive Drive on my car, I do also own a 2008 Audi Q7 and the steering feels half the resistance I have in my X6 ?

Hope you understand my poor English....

Thats a BMW characteristic, not a problem. All BMW's have stiffer steering

Large 20+ inch wheels affect steering a low speed as do performance tires in general.

High fi sound maybe not but Adaptive drive a must have, totally amazing turns with it!
