2009 X5 3.0 random engine squealing

I occasionally (1/10 starts) get a loud squealing noise under the car. I recorded the video.

Doesn't matter if it's hot or cold, doesn't seem to change pitch ever (not with engine speed).

It sounds like it's coming from the oil pump, but I can't tell. If I restart, it goes away and everything runs fine. It started last time I changed the oil. New Mobile 1 European formula 0w-40, and FRAM Premium filter. I tested with the filter competely removed and it still happens, so it's not the filter.

Please ignore the hydraulic lifter tapping for now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems like this is related to a failing PCV valve. I will report back when I fix it.
