DuMaM3Fast's X5d
Hey all.
I finally got around to modding my X5d more, took some photos, and am ready to post it up. Here is my ride: - 2012 X5d AW - 4" Magnaflow race muffler with 4" piping - JBD 80% - Spacers: Front: 12.5mm ; Rear: 20mm - AW color matched all black body part pieces - Matte Black ECS kidney grills - Painted matte black front grills - Powdercoated black running boards - Full front clear bra - Plasti-dipped rear X5 emblem Overall, I'm very happy with how it looks and the paint quality of the body shop I found. More mods eventually to come. I also posted a few photos of my bike too since I finally took some new photos. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments.
As for the paint, I went to many body shops to see if they correctly knew how to paint textured plastic. I found one shop and I am very happy with their work. As for the exhaust, there is no difference in sound. The only major differences is the increase in exhaust flow out the tail pipe and I also dropped around 20-40 lbs ditching the stock muffler and piping.

I thought about that when I was installing my exhaust system, but that's extra weight I didn't wait. Plus, I love the look of the single sided 4" downturn. It's mean looking.

You probably won't tell too much of the difference in weight, but pricing for4" stainless steel piping is roughly $70-80 per bend, if not more. A few bends to the left side will add up quick.
I know most people aren't going to be into it, but I love it!

Unless it has the DPF and urea injection removed it won't be happening.

Black smoke out the back would be awesome, but nothing different is coming out the tailpipe. Only more flow. When my warranty expires in 3.5 years, I got big plans for my X5d. Can't wait!!!
