Mod thought. Looking for opinions

When installing my gp thunders i thought of this. Looking to get thoughts. I know you can buy led strips so I was thinking of getting a white strip and putting it where i drew the red lines. Either one strip ontop of the slice piece, maybe one below it, or maybe both? This is not my car in the pic.

^^ What they said. You already have the GP Thunders in what is unique about BMW, the halos. Audi has the LED strips. Mercedes tried to copy it, and IMO it looks like crap. Stick with what you got.
Everyone keeps copying others designs. I want to smash the headlamps of all the new Camaros I see with the halos. Sorry for the rant.

I'll never own an Audi so that's a no. Didn't know these LEDs were that much of a heated thing! Everyone copies ever ones elses styling. Thats life. With everything.... Which came first. Chicken or the egg?

Is an X6 a Honda Crosstour, or is it an Acura ZDX I think? Seriously...

I am off the opinion above - BMW invented the halo's and that is there thing - audi pretty much invented the LED lines as their thing (although Porsche and Mercedes are in the game also). If you really want something unique, change the halo's to full LED halo's from OSS Design's that is the way to use LED's in my book.

For the record, I think it would likely look good - kind of the way Porsche does them as a line on the intake fins (and mercedes just started to do), but in my book it is lke the guys that put halo's on their Honda or other.

And just for the record - even mentioning a Crosstour is grounds for a banning in my book - just don't post a picture or I will tear my eyes out!

I didn't mean it in that manner. You'll never find a manufacturer not trying to build a vehicle close in appearance, only to win over the market with the best extras, service, etc. My point is, there are things about each manufacturer that makes them unique (except the likes of Kia and Hyundai). Your BMW has the halos. Keep it's unique feature and leave the LED strips for others to copy.
