Soft, I thought you didnt have your car yet?
Irf the car has connected drive then it comes with a built in SIM with access for 3 yrs. Then you should have RSS, email, internet and some other goodies. but you have to register at bmw online. |

Ok, bumb... :-)
Here in Norway we do NOT have acsess to BMWConnect/RSS/weather/google map point "send to car". So, my question is, does anyone know what sort of networking the X6 is using, I do again assume it is some sort of SIM card, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G based modem in there. Have anyone seen that?, or anyone here that have a technical knowledge of how this is set up ?. I would like to "reroute" the internet "path" in idrive from the non-existing BMWConnect, to simply use my own SIM/Data card. And last, is there a actual webbrowser in the iDrive.? |

I would suggest asking over here - http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=122
Even though you and the X6 (or will have), the i-drive is the same |
