Winter tyres question

Hi, new here so hello to all.
I have a x5 xdrive 3.0d m sport on order and a very kind familly friend has given me 4 practically new snow tyres. Now these came off an e53 with 20" alloys but the tyre sizes of the snow tyres are all 295/40/20. I know from my current e53 which also has 20" alloys that the fronts are something like 285/40/20 and the rears are something like 315/35/20 so will I have a problem with all of them being 295/40/20 ? I know my friend has driven to Austria on them and had no problems but we plan on going next Feb and I want to make sure they are okay.
