Angry Order status check for Canadians

Hey there fellow Canadians,

Have any of you been able to get a straight answer from
your dealer about your order status with regards to a bulid
no. or a delivery date?

I ordered an X6///M on Feb 12 and was told that it would be
about 6-8wks. I haven't heard anything from the dealer so
I called and was told that they still cannot up date me as they
are unsure themselfs from BMW.

Why do us Canadians get jerked around so much as it is
my understanding that every other county can view my question
through their respected BMW website?

It does suck fo us in Canada...I tried calling BMW Canada directly...get the order number from your dealer. They aren't a lot more help, but may have a little more info. Having it inline like the US does makes so much more snse, then you don't have to bug anyone...

The good news is you should have it soon. I ordered Aug 30 and it showed up at my dealer Oct 15...and yours doesn't need to ride the rails all the way West! It is worth the wait!

Kahunacanuck thanks for the advice.
I've already taken BMW throught the rubarb with my
first X6M and don't want to rock the boat to much.

I had a Carbon Black with Cinammon Interior as my first and decided
to go with the AP/CN.

How do you like the AP/CN? As a little of encouragement do you have a
couple of pics?

I think the carbon black with Cinnamon looks awesome, why did you change your mind? I am planning to order this color combination, assuming it's available in the US which I am not sure it is.

Carbon Black and Cinnamon is avail for US. I saw this combo on a 2010 X6 M at my dealer and fell in love. Full leather dash with this combo is drop dead gorgeous! I almost cancelled my 2011 x6 50i order to buy this but it sold overnite.

The M does look superb w/o all the black plastic trim.
Curious the kind of mileage U get on the x6M.
Is there any fog lites on the x6M?
Thx.

No fog lights for the M...

My mileage is only around 12 - 14 mpg...I haven't done many trips lately in it and it is just around town stop and go...and I can't resist planting it to "go"!

It is really sad.
I am shocked with the way we are treated. Just relocated back to Canada with my vehicles and the experience with the BMW here is quite disturbing.

I got rid of the CB because the dealer delivered it to me with a ton of scratches all over the vehicle. Not very professional if you ask me.
