Video/Audio shows X6M using launch control

This is a rather good video showing some kids in a BMW X6M using the launch control in a street race. The sound is particularly good.

I have not tried the launch control yet, but this really peaks my interest.

I was told there's a set number of times you can use the launch control before you void your warranty is this true?

That was cool!

Sounds like the passenger didn't have his seat belt on. The other part was muddled - did the driver suggest that Launch Control wouldn't work unless the passenger put his belt on, or was it just a safety measure on the part of the driver. Either way it's a good thing, but I'm curious.

The driver could not see Launch Control on the HUD because there is an indicator telling him that his passenger belt was not fastened. This message takes up the whole HUD view so he could not see unless his passenger did the belt up very quickly, which he did.
