Scam or real price

Found this 2012 X6M in Listed Craiglist at $59,900?

I don't see anything wrong with that price...seems good and fair. Sparse info in the ad though.

I do not see anything wrong with the price either. All seems reasonable except for the info details are kind of vague, which could lead to a potential scam. Why don't you contact the owner and find out for yourself

Thanks for your comments I felt price kind of low......I'm not looking for a car, I still love my 2010 X6M with just 42,000kms which is like 26k miles

Whats the MSRP of a 2014 brand new X6M?

And what is the depreciation table used in the US for cars like this?

Here in Costa Rica, 1st year is 25%, than 10% for each aditional year

MSRP is $93k for a new X6M. Base price, no options.

Residual tends to be 50% - 55% range after 3 years, maybe 60%-63% after 2, so let's say average MSRP with options is $100k, $60k for a 2 year old model is right on par.

I don't know what it loses first year because there are no 1 year lease residuals, but I believe 25% is probably accurate.

Price seems reasonable and given that (a) MY15 models are coming out, such that MY12 are now 3 model years old, and (b) the E71 X6M is [very close to being] discontinued with a new body style coming out, I would say residuals would be on the low end of things at this point.

I was offered something like $60k after less than a year on a $90k 2012 MB GL550 because the new body style came out for the GL Klasse in 2013. That really messes with values for previous models.

Love my 2013 E71 LCI X6M and keeping her for a long time so none of this bothers me, though.

Same here, thinking in keeping my (updated and retrofitted) 2010 X6M for more time, today I saw the new 2015 X6 just in case you haven't seen this pictures, here is the link
