Powder coat is more durable than paint.
I hated getting my pants dirty on the aluminum boards so I swapped them out for the thinner all black OEM side skirts, I am much happier now.

just got the car and starting to get annoyed at the running boards. I haven't figured out how to get out of the car by stepping on them... not stepping on them guarantees I rub my pants on them.....
