Carbon Fiber Wrap for X5

Hey guys I met up with "Don Nguyen" , and had him wrap my "Dark Bamboo Wood" interior in 3M Carbon Fiber.
He's a wonderful guy and extremely talented at what he does.
He also tinted last week my Front headlights , Fog lights and rear tail lights.
Hope you enjoy
Rob

Looks great Rob! Btw, how do the tinted lights look at night? Not too dim?

That tint looks pretty good. People usually make it too dark and it ends up looking ghetto and like police bait.

Well done. Carry on!

Looks good. I am glad you like it.

I specifically use the lightest shade possible that's still noticeable (anything lighter, and you basically do not even noticed or see it) and still allow a good amount of light through it so that everything is still usable on a daily basis.

That looks amazing! I always thought I'd shoot myself before I'd tint the taillights on any car I owned, but for some reason I've been wanting to do it on the X5. Seeing it on a space grey now confirms that it looks great.

Most of you guys aren't local to me, so I am not sure if my prices are applicable.

Prices vary from installer to installer, so there is no real set standard. If one person charges $100 in Sacramento, but someone else charges $400 in Bloomington, it won't make the situation much different.

I just wrapped mine and I removed the door panels to remove the door trim and wrap it. It takes about 45 mins per door panel. Just do a search for BAVSOUND E70 audio upgrade and they have great video on how to remove the door panels. Take your time and it is worth it. Here are my results.

I paid $50.00 for the 3M wrap...a local installer wanted $550.00
