1/8th mile in my bms stage I xdrive35i

I know most of you guys don't really care for performance but I do know some of you guys have switched over from the M's and e90's....

2011 x5 35i
-only mod is the BMS jb3 stage 1 tuner and a tow hitch

1/8th mile

at factory tuner setting
9.3 @ 74mph

at +6 and a bottle of nitrous octane booster(mmt works!)
8.8 @ 77mph

stock should be running 9.5 and above

you get 35i fuel economy and 50i performance, not bad for a $300 investment. I'm just wondering what the 50i would do w/ a tune?!

I didn't get this to car to track, but it was all too tempting to line up with the new camaro ss and a 350z. I was able to show them my taillights and impress the crowd...

got any before and after 0-60's, sounds pretty quick in the 1/8th, stock 335's run it around 8, so 8.8 is pretty respectable!

What is your experience running Nitrous on your X5? I am very tempted to install it on my X5 50i Dinan. Any issues with it, engine probelms, etc...?

Currently I have Dinan stage 4, Dinan free flow exhaust, Dinan larger intercoolers. She puts out 530 hp and 590 torque. I am interested in a ZEX N2O BMW kit that is fully automated and would add 75 hp.

I had Terrys JB4 running the old autotune map 5 on my N54 335i and ran a 12.78@108 right out of the gate with absolutely no other mods, a full tank of gas, stock run flats with 40 lbs in them and beach chairs in the trunk.


1/8th on that run was 8.23@86

JB4 is awesome.

Damn these things are rocking I want to say my best with a tune is a 7.9 at 90mph.

It's Octane booster. Branded with the Nitrous name. He's not using nitrous.
