x6 M50d dials and HUD
On every photo I have seen of the car dials are the same as in other X6 non-M models apart from the ///M logo. However, on the configurator the dials are exactly the same as on the X6M (red pointers, am not sure about the color of the light). Does anyone know more about this? Also does HUD have M view for X6 M50d?

It looks like that X6 M50d is getting a modified version of M dials, as the logo on it appears to be different, but dials remain red on both models.
It seems not to be the case with the X5 or 550d (5 series). Of course it could be a mistake on the configurator as well. Seems not many people care about this but I think it would look more special if the back light of the dials are white/blue-ish. Thinking about changing my X6 to the current model and these small changes could actually influence my purchase. |

Hi, this is how the dials of the X6 M50d looked that was on display in Geneva.
I am 99.9% sure that it will NOT have a M view in the hud as it does not have an "M" button on the steering wheel or somewhere else to move it to a specific M-mode as in the X6M. I ordered one and went through any documentation about the vehicle that I could find an never found any hint there would be such a view, so I guess it will not be the case. |

Thanks for your reply! Am still puzzled why on every configurator (various countries, including UK, Austria and Switzerland) it shows red dials for this model. Congrats on the order! Please confirm on this when you get your car.
