Clicking/creaking front end
I took my x5m to Sebring last weekend since the other cars are both out of commission currently. Even prior I could hear a little clicking while the car is turning. It's definitely gotten worse since though. Any ideas what is most likely? I haven't had the chance to get under and take a look. But I assume it will be a pain to figure it out without a second person to help anyway. Is there a most likely culprit? Car feels totally normal, just lots of clicking/creaking when turning the steering wheel in both directions. Seems to happen more the further off center I go. And happens while moving or stationary.

Just took my '12 M in to a dealer with 58,000 miles with what sounds like the same problem. I would hear the clicking sound on right turns at full lock. Maybe a tick or two per rotation. Had the problem for years and slowly got worse but BMW was always "unable to replicate" until I took the foreman for a ride. It was the front wheel bearings. There was a service bulletin issued: 31 01 12. Not covered under warranty so they goodwilled 75%. Cost me $150. Knowing the issue now, I would just take it to your own mechanic if you have one and maybe save a few bucks. Hope this helps.
