absolutely lower then specs, I'm not even sure how they were abused, I assume pretty bad!
I'm planning to raise the hight to 30.5" all around and have rebound and compression settings to Kimo's recommendations!

That's surprising to see. I ran my KW V3s lower (29.5) and for good 12 months and had no such failure. Guess I was lucky!
