35D tuning options

Looking at Racechips RS vs DUDMD stage 1. Has anyone one had one of these and which would be be the better option? Price is about the same but have read that the Racechips can cause a CEL. I'd rather not have that extra alert at start up if you know what I mean.

You will get significantly better gains with DUDMD stage 1, and it will also be a significantly better and more refined tune. I've been running DUDMD stage 2 for over 100k miles, and they are nothing but a great shop.

Hey! Have you ever had a CEL with DUDMD?

I have had CELs, when they're supposed to be triggered. Glow plugs, misfire for injector, etc. DUDMD doesnt hide any CEL's, which is a good thing. The tune wont throw CEL's for no reason, but if something is wrong, it will tell you the code it's throwing.

My bad. I should have specified. I meant if the tune would throw a CEL which you just answered. I've read that Racechips tunes cause CEL which is why I asked. Thank you!

SPD. easily the best and most refined tune, although one of the most expensive. There’s a reason they’re making the most power with these engines right now though and they’re doing it reliably…
