How much can you get off List Price?

I'm looking at auto-trader for new 2011 x5's in both gas a diesel. How much wiggle room do you guys think there is from list?

For example a 2011 X5 premium listed for $56k (gas) ... how much will they let it go for?

Thanks!!!

I don't know about Canada but here in the states, BMW has a 7% markup on their vehicle. Knowing that, it gives you an idea what their bottom line number is. What has always worked for me is to ask them to show you invoice and let's agree on a profit. Very cut and dry. No B.S games. I paid 500 over invoice for my X6.

It depends on where you live, here in the DC Metro we have six BMW dealerships within 45 miles so we have to be competitive.

There's a dealership in Lynchburg Va where the next closest one is 250 miles away, they can ask for more.

Anyone have that PDF with dealer pricing for x5's?

Hey Kent. You're an internet sales manager for the Fairfax dealer? I'm thinking about upgrading mine to an M. Can you hook me up?

PM me your contact info. Do you have either a Black Sapphire or Alpine white X6M? Thank you.

Is there a particular one you were looking at? I just had my sales associate show me his invoice and cost sheet when I ordered the car. We had already agreed on a profit margin. If there's one on the lot you like, tell them you want to see invoice and work from there. No BS.
