THANKS A TON! That picture cleared it all up for me.
Yea, I saw that thread but still had trouble picturing exactly what it was referring too.. I thought the carbon fiber inlets and the lip were one piece.. that is where my confusion stemmed from.

Are the carbon fiber inlets, matte lip, and diffuser easy to install (could I do it myself) ? It looks like its just attached with some bodywork screws that are already in place? Does the dealer charge installation if you place the order with performance parts on the car ?

I mean damn first 70 to 95k for a 3/4 series then another bullet to the chest with M parts that should come with the M model.

On the other hand good work EAS, purchased lots of stuff from you guys. thanks for the post!
Appreciate the feedback everyone! The pieces really transformed the look in such a short amount of time.

Interesting. I think some carbon should be visible?

There is a slight gap on both sides, not sure if I'd call it terrible.

Not hard at all, depending on skill level. We always recommend giving it try first, best if you have a buddy to be an extra pair of eyes for lining up the pieces.

We'll make a point to find out net opportunity with a 4-series.

Shouldn't be a problem in SoCal.

Nice rear diffuser! I have one on order. Does the "kick-motion-to-open trunk" comfort access still work? A lot of people have said once the CF diffuser is installed, that feature stops working.

Can you confirm? Thanks.

M4 parts are being released next week. If you want the M-Performance mirror caps now, they have been removed and are up for sale.

It was a big day today, as our BMW M-Performance Aero arrived ahead of schedule (originally slated for 9.13.14).

Instead of installing 1 or 2 pieces, we're going all in and installing everything on the long awaited the BMW M-Performance Aero.

Having seen, handled and installed a lot of aftermarket parts, this has to be some of the best quality and designed pieces we've seen. All parts fit perfectly with the M4's contours with no visible gaps, even for the most scrutinized types. Extra bonus on the M4 since there isn't a spoiler requiring removal like M3 (and previous models). As with the previous E9X M3 Performance line, all parts are 2x2 carbon weave, with exception of the lower lip and side blade attachments - quite possibly since they are in the impact zone close to the road.

Simply put, BMW did their homework and knocked it out of the ballpark with these pieces, raising the bar for aftermarket to measure up to.

Items installed

Preparation

Installation

Completed

The end result is simply fantastic, going from aggressive to downright menacing in the matter of a few hours. The carbon weave really pops against the Austin Yellow finish.

Full build can be seen in our journal here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1020487

Afterthoughts: We might look into painting the lower lip Gloss Black and wrapping with clear film to make it match with the other exterior trim.

Otherwise, our M4 is really coming together nicely.
How hard was it to install the rocker panel? Are there screws to work with or just mainly adhesive?

Does anyone have pictures to share of mounted front splitter with trimmed flaps from underneath ? Wonder how deep I should cut the rubber and if I can perform DIY in this case.

Thanks
