Hardwire radar detector

Im interested in hardwiring my radar detector. I was thinking about powering it from the mirror and using a blendmount or something similar in mounting my detector. BTW, be careful when you're removing the plastic housing around the mirror mount as the plastic tabs are easily broken.

Does anybody know which one of these wires I should tap into for power and ground?

This is the wiretap im going to be using:

May i ask which radar?, if its a v1 you should buy the savvy port that connects to your obd connection which is pretty nice.

OP, your best option is to unplug those cables and test them with a volt meter to determine which is a +12 that is active after powering on the car. On xoutpost, they default to the green and white wire, try that one and see if it works since it is in a different location
