How to deactivate the tire pressure monitor?

On the X6 Hybrid can we deactivate the tire pressure monitor?

Why

I am sure it can be disabled somehow, but makes no sense to me.

I put non run flats on it and didn't put the sensors on the new rims... So now I get a sensor malfunction message all the time! I can reset the M3 but can't seem to reset the X6 Hybrid.
