Joined the club today. 2010 X5 M with 145 miles
Now that I washed and waxed it here are a few pics! (I love Adam's polishes)
And for Father's day, I pulled away from some guy in his AMG Mercedes this morning. He gave up north of 100 as I was pulling away! 550 HP never felt or looked so good!!! I also added clear bra to the car. I can barely tell its there. If you need a top installer in the NJ/NY area let me know. Its the best job I have seen. This guy works on all exotics all the time. Car was sitting at the dealer in VA. Got a great deal. Just drove it back home to NJ, was a great 4 hour drive. The power in this thing is nuts! Here is a quick pick, will post some more when its cleaned again this weekend. Last edited by treky11; 06-19-2011 at 01:18 PM.. Reason: Updated pics |

I am making an appt to have clear bra done as soon as the shop near me opens today.
That Lexus is what I traded in. I also got them to throw in a BMW bicycle they had in the showroom. Will post some pics. And I agree, the Lexus is a turd compared to this truck. I live in h Paramus area, so about 25 min from Wayne. |

If it's a 2010 then BT audio streaming wasnt offered. However you can buy a 35 buck blackberry BT audio gateway add-on available at amazon to do audio streaming. Just plug it into the aux and USB port.

As far as mods go
1. not sure if this counts but I polished up the inside of the exhaust, see pic, kinda tough to see in a pic, but looks much better in person IMO 2. some coding for the remote features, typical stuff 3. need a set of winter tires and wheels 4. considers the BMW apps retrofit. Mine is a 2010 but it has the CIC so I may do it, but not sure I want to lose BMW Assist. I welcome any other suggestions. |

Black Kidneys and clear side markers from ECS, would be my suggestion mostly because I want to see how that looks on a silverstone. SS will be my next color on my 2013 X5M.....

Congrats!! What a great machine. Here's a tip to keep those exhaust tips clean - spray them with Armor All wheel protectant. It will prevent the soot from building up, like a teflon coating.
