Retrofit headrest from multi-contour seats to sport seats?

Anyone know if it's possible? I just like the look of the double-layer headrest, nothing more.

If it's not too late, just get the comfort seats. It's really worth every penny!

My car was already produced and now I have regrets, just waiting for transport.

Think I could get another one built? I didn't put any down payment when ordering....

i'm also interested in knowing the answer to this question...anyone know off the top of their heads whether tischer sells just the headrest and whether the multi-contour headrests can just replace the headrest of the sport seats one?

OP, are these the headrests you want:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

that link should be the product link for these kind of headrests:

most newer BMW will have AHR (Active Headrest Restraint) system. You'll need to visit your local dealer to reset the code if you do decide to swap the headrests.

just my $0.02 worth.

Alarm shouldn't get set if you disconnect the battery and reconnect with another active headrest. If all else fails, you can just code it out.

That's the more logical choice if you have the time to wait.

Looking at your order under your sig, I'd also make sure to get the spare tire.
