Hey,
What did you use to mount your exterior CF parts? I've found that my pieces (perf lip and diffuser) are slowly detaching after using the 3M VHB tape. If you did use the same tape, is there a recommended method?

I had the same issue. The front lip is now discretely secured with body screws.

Yes, still on H&Rs (Retains the benefits of EDC suspension)
Ride is still OEM smooth, but stiffer in the corners where it should be. The combination of H&R springs with shorter sidewalls make for less body roll... before, it felt a little mushy, now it feels more planted.

No bump stop modifications necessary... There is still quite a bit of suspension travel and I have never come close to bottoming out.

Reinstalled mine and it fits like a glove with the screws. Didn't think the factory setup would've required modifications but two more screws and I couldn't be happier. Thanks and great photos!!

I also forgot to mention in my original listing that ALL Fluids were changed at 85k miles, All recalls have been completed and all updates from BMW have been applied!

...so the car is super fresh and needs nothing!

Sold my wife's X3 and bought her an M40i

Couldnt take the stock 19s any longer, so I just HAD to see how the ADVs would look on it!
(unfortunately BMW has changed from a 5x120 bolt pattern to a 5x112 on the G series,so they wont work )

I will run similar offsets as X5M, just 9.0 and 10.5 widths instead of X5Ms massive 10.5 and 12s....

The Pure turbos / Active Autowerkes X5M is officially gone.....
I delivered her to the buyer in Canada over the weekend!

It has been a fun build and it hurts a little to let her go, but there will always be other builds on the horizon. I appreciate all of you guys for your help: whenever I would reach a turning point, when I needed a hand or an opinion, I could always count on this group to be there for me.

I will continue to poke around in here from time to time and check on you guys. I hope to see some of you at Mpact in August!
