New X5 M No Rails
I just had the roof rails removed and I'm very pleased with the look as body lines seem to be smoother especially towards the back to spoiler

Looks good, I've been thinking about removing the roof rails and removing the door moldings for a cleaner look. Can you take some close up pics of the roof?

Yeah I never used them and as much as I loved it when I bought it something really bothered me about the roof and quickly realized that the roof rails were making it look more round and for it being a true sport SUV i thought it should have more of a sleek look so taking the rails off gave me the look I was looking for. I will try to post some close pics of the roof. It was supposed to be about a $1200 job between the replacement parts for the roof and the labor but the dealership gave the parts to me for free cause of some issues I had to deal with. The body shop at my dealership saved me money on labor so only ended up costing me about $400 dollars.

Here is the link that I did showing a DIY on how to install not remove but I think its going to show you at least the process of what needs to be removed. I only used as a reference for my shop cause I didn't want to do it or trust myself.

The color is Saphire black and the wheels are 21"s with a dark gun metal grey finish but are plasti dipped right now to protect the finish from all the salt on the roads. They came on the M when I bought it.
