Pics of Fender Flares Running 19"

Sup Guys,

I am considering installing some fender flares on my wife's 2010 X5 4.8 Sport with 19" 211 wheels in an effort to make it look a little more aggressive. Ultimately, i'm aware in order to complete the look i should consider swapping out the 19" in exchange for 20". Unfortunately, lets just say my wife isn't as careful with her wheels as I am. So that really isn't an option at this time.

Can anyone share some pics of their X5 on 19" wheels with fender flares installed? I would like to see what it would look like? I have seen plenty with 20"s and they look great. I did a search and found one with 18" wheels but would really like to see what they look like installed with 19" wheels.

Thanks in advance...

Stock 19'' wheels with sport fender flares:

Not a good idea to install sport fender flares with stock 19'' wheels. However, my stock 298M wheels fit well with 20 mm spacers on rear because of the rear offset changed enough.

if you want to stick with OEM 19'' rims with sport fender flares, 298M is a good choice.
Or you can also find a set of style 223 rims, they look similar like the style 298M with fender flares on.

Thanks for the feedback. However I'm a bit confused, 298 and 211 are the same size/width according to this site;

I'm using the 298M wheels as my winter setup with a 15mm hub centric spacers only on the rears and it looks like I have 4 donuts on my truck...can't wait for the warmer weather so i can put my 333's back on...maybe without fender flares they will look better

Style 211 has 48 offset all the way around, style 298M has 18 offset on rear. That makes rear wheels stick out a lot.

I see, thanks. I guess it really isn't a good look unless I fit some 20" under there.

wow that does look kind of silly.

I was on the highway yesterday and the exact same X5d drove alongside, but he had OEM 19s (or was it 18s), and it appeared he also had the flares. On the side profile, it looked okay. I think OEM 20s even have tons of wheel gap, but I concur, on the rear profile, the wheels looked really thin.

But I'm used to looking at my fatty 20s on the X5, and even on my M3, I have fat OEM 19s (275/35) and both looks boss.

Here's what my 20's look like, and I think there's a ton of gap, but I don't mind:
