Squirrel chewed my supply lines for suspension
Air ride suspension would drop when my X5 sat for a while. If I started my truck and ran it for even a few minutes the suspension would rise up and ride normal. Turns out, a squirrel started to nest inside the shrowd(?) that covered the supply lines. "Rocky," not Bullwinkle, chewed the red and blue lines and made them lose air pressure when the compressor wasn't able to keep up. Replaced 2 airbag shocks from wear and tear and drove down the road. Turns out when I parked in the same spot the pesky squirrel went back in to rebuild his nest. This time chewing the electrical wires for the compressor. After reading about squirrels in another forum, we sprayed the inside of the shrowd with white lithium grease and put granulated fox urine on the inside of the shrowd. Cross your fingers that I have success. Thoughts? Similar experiences? JT

PROBLEM SOLVED !!
Washed out the area and used the white lithium grease to hold the granules and cover any scent left behind. 2 weeks now and no sign of the squirrel. Red squirrel btw. JT
