Hang in there!! I picked up a 650i GC two weeks ago. It was between the GC or an X6M when I went in to trade my X6 because the mainternance warranty expired over a month ago.

You made the right choice by going from one X6 into a more powerful machine. I do like the GC, and enjoy driving her very much, but I have learned over the past two weeks that you definitely need an SUV/SAV type vehicle when traveling through the 5 Boroughs... The potholes are NO joke on the sporty suspension of the GC compared to the suspension of the bit more rugged X6!

I know the "itch" when waiting for your new car but it is just a matter of time, and just in time for the nice weather to officially kick in. Enjoy your new toy when it comes in! Let me know of any upcoming meets like the one you were putting together a couple years ago, thanks!

I drive in the NYC area all day long and although I do agree with you to some extent...I would say that if you just be a little careful a lot of fatalities can be avoided ....that being said, roads in NY sucks but I think our cars are more prone to damage because of people who are jealous of what you are driving...rather than pot holes

I hear you. I definitely take it easy on the potholes, but I have definitely noticed the haters scoping out my car. That's why I park far away from the crowds whenever possible when i'm out

Waiting is killing. You keep re-evaluating your options, looking for reviews, creating tons of configurations on the web, looking @ videos, talking about the car with everyone, thinking thinking thinking!

My X6 50 has arrived after a very long wait (I ordered it in November). I did not get it yet because I have to wait for one more week for all paper work to finish and for the car to be shipped to my city!

It is itching and killing. Not sure how did survive the long wait. And still one crazy week to go!

I'll share the pics once I get it.

my first car I have ordered in December 28th and it arrived March 19, same with M, ordered on 26th, and it still not here.....
