About 35 years ago, I heard a radio commercial that started out with promoting the ultimate father's day gift for the dad who has everything. My ears perked up, thinking that they were about to solve my dilemma. What was their gift idea? Flying lessons!
One small problem in my case was that my old man literally had everything...including two airplanes and a pilot's license with IFR rating.  Having lost my father a few years later in a plane crash, I am not going to recommend this gift idea.....
