You haven't driven your truck until you hit the speed limiter... I have angel eyes, blacked out grill, eurocharged 93 tune. Today I'm getting my summer tires put back on and also getting an oil change.

Man. I can't wait to upgrade to the X5M. The 4.8 is no slouch, but being able to tune it is so appealing! And I agree. Until you've topped out the speedo and had your car sideways you've never really driven it.
I just finished my mods. Black M5 grilles, blacked out reflectors and side indicators, blacked out running boards and front mesh grilles. Angel eyes, led fogs and white led turn indicators. Black rims with a red lip at the edges. She's not an M but she looks pretty sick! |

I can't find how to update my profile on the iPhone app. I can't even upload pics. I just went to the website through my phone browser also and still can't find anywhere to do it. Any help?

Swapped out the 18mm spacers on the rear for 20mm today. Not much difference, but these new spacers fit better with the wheels I've got, so it was a good move anyway.
Yesterday my friends at CGS Performance Products in Chino built a custom muffler-delete for me. The car sounds amazing without being too loud and with zero drone/negative impact on the car. We used 4" (100mm) double-walled tips. I'll post a thread with these pics and some video as soon as I have a sec to get some. |

Oh totally, though the car had it installed before we bought it, so I didn't have too much say.
Going to be taking it off most likely to run a diffuser. I don't like how much attention it draws and how big the hole is. It's cleanly done, just distracting. |

Kris that is one sexy exhaust.
Biff my truck no longer has the limiter lol. I'm just saying when you first buys these its a must to hit that speed limiter. I actually hit 162 with it on I was going down hill . Fastest I've taken my truck is up in the 180s and it has more for sure.

Jim, that is insanely fast for a truck!
Mine still has the limiter being that it's naturally aspirated as I can't tune it. I've still pegged it out at 155 though. It's really something that a vehicle this size can go that fast and still handle well. At 120 in a M135i I felt like the wind was gonna blow the car off the road. I can't get over how stable the X is at speed. It's awesome! |
