Space gray is awesome. Also I'm glad to see that they are letting buyers choose the X6M wheels...they are so much better than the standard X5 M wheels!

Too many use to be but this is all that is left for now, Traded in the M3 and my '10 X5M for this. I had gotten the M3 after having a 1M for a bit to see if I could be happy with it over the X5M. Well answer was no, though it was a fabulous car. Just nothing beats the X5M, this is my 6th X5 over the years plus others like the Cayenne and nothing comes close to what this car can do. Others do certain things better, but for all around enjoyment and utility nothing comes close.
Basically the same car, except for the lights and wheels, but in the 50 miles or so I have noticed a few things. Overall ride seems much quieter. Merino leather is not nearly as soft as as the Merino in my 2010. Almost seems like it is Dakota in some places. Vinyl plastic on the dash and other areas seems a little cheaper and lighter in color. Not sure if this is possible but exhaust seems even less raspy than the 2010. Overall the car seems tighter though and pickup and steering seem more precise and tight. The standard floor mats are really cheap, No heal pad on the drivers side, no BMW or M lettering of anykind. Good thing I kept my M mats out of my old one. One other thing, though maybe in the past 2 1/2 years I never noticed, but there are speaker grills and speakers in the upper back D pillars. LED lights are much brighter than the old, though not sure its worth $1900. They look mean as hell though. As I notice anything else, I'll let you guys know. |

Are those really the X6M wheels? Did you have to pay for them from the dealer? I do not see any option for wheels on the BMW website, not does my local's order form have the option.
I REALLY hate the standard X5M wheels. They are the ugliest wheels of any M car I have seen. (My 2c of course) |

The option is not listed on the website but the dealer should be able to show you. The option code was listed on the order sheets. Also Multi Contour seats are standard now without having to get the active/vent seats. I love that. |

Yeah i might try to put by gloss black performance grills on to see how they look. The cut out is the same shape only the chrome trim width and slate shape and width are different. Though the chrome does match up with the LED lights a little better than they use too.
