BMW 20” tires

Just now bought these for my BMW X5 but the specs do not match with my x5m model , the previous owner said that he had these rims on a E70 x5 and later put on a 6 series with a different size tires

The specs on the rim say :

81/2J-20EH2+ front tire ( 255/35zR20)
10J-20EH2+ tire( 285/30zR20)

Does any one know these specs are which BMW model. The rims seem OEM . I posted these back on Craigslist as these are not my size . Check my post for pics

If you're working out the mounting issue difference for the WHEELS...you still need to determine if the TIRE sizes are correct for your model. You can easily find this out by running your current tire sizes (or the ones in your owners manual or the tire inflation label on your driver's door/door jamb) through an tire size calculator (just google it if you don't have a site your normally go to). If the tire size rolling diameter/circumference is GREATER than 3% (+/-)...then you will need to find tires with the correct spec to mount on these wheels. If not, tires with the incorrect rolling diameter/circumference will not only give incorrect MPH on the speedometer...it can also disrupt your ABS/AWD/traction control systems operational calculations. If the difference between wheel circumference is too great or too small...this can be interpreted as wheel slippage and the traction control can initiate to bring wheel rotation into compliance.

The pic below (from the Craig's list link you provided) is the one that contains the information we need to be of any help...it shows the BMW logo and the last 7 digits of the BMW part nbr. This verifies that it is a BMW oe wheel and allows one to look up the wheel in one of the online part databases to find out what models it was used on and the wheel's specs:

Click the following link to see what BMW models were offered with this wheel...then also take note from the CL ad that these are a staggared wheel set-up with the front 8.5"x20" front wheels have a 25mm wheel offset...and the rear 10"x20" rear wheels have a 41mm wheel offset:

BMW Wheel Style 316

Below is a BMW Wheel Size Chart where you can compare the important specs between the models to determine how compatible they are:

These are 7 series wheels. I wanted to throw these on an F10 in 2012ish. Looks like someone already posted the specs.

Thanks everyone for chiming in with your inputs, I’ve updated more images on my CL POST

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/pts...469476855.html

Yes these are oem BMW rims and the specs I found with the part numbers to be matching

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F263152373733

These also have almost new Sumitomo ( Japanese tires) ... someone is coming to buy these in afternoon but these are still available until they pickup .

If anyone interested in the original OEM wheels IN Bay Area , feel free to reach out to me
