Where to order OEM hitch?
I'm looking for the cheapest and most reliable place to order the OEM hitch and harness online. I called the indie shop in town and they quoted me just over $1,200 for parts and labor. The quote showed the hitch and harness at $850, which is ridiculous. I know I can get it online for around $500, just don't know who is reputable.

Look into the ExecuHitch which would be my choice if I went with a Hitch. My E53 has the OEM Hitch and it was not too bad but with the E70's they didn't think about it from the beginning more so of an after thought. If you ever plan on an Aero Kit or just want a nice hidden Hitch then it would be a better choice to go with the ExecuHitch. Price about the same but can be self installed pretty easily and is clean and hidden when not in use.
They are very reputable. |

I found a BMW dealer on eBay selling OEM.. I bought the hitch for my 2006 a few years back for $550 or so.. I'll see if I can locate any paperwork, etc. and let you know the dealer...

Just bought my Execuhitch and have appt to have it installed by BMW Monday. I bought it with the OEM Harness. Service Advisor quoted me $650 for install
 which I think is outrageous!!! But I think its better than having to cut my rear difuser. |
