Thank you. I think it looks more vibrant in direct sunlight. Its been very overcast so it looks a bit dull, though I am very happy with it.

Thank you and yes its a 35i Sport Activity. My former car was a Lexus IS300. I think I am now addicted to inline sixes. Just so smooth, this one has a mean sounding exhaust.

I also sprang for the Premium Sound. I researched it on the forums here and actually added it after I put in my order. Boy am I glad I did. I highly recommend it if you listen to any type of music.

Absolutely Gorgeous! Our 35d is coming in Sparkling Bronze but I really wanted the blue (always wanted a Blue car). Husband vetoed it.

man.. only if the front reflectors came in red to match the back, then i wouldn't even thinking about replacing them with painted ones.




hey what do you guys think, if i wrapped the extended fender in 3M cf wrap? (or the entire lower matte black part of the front/ rear bumper? I will have the aero kit as well)

Had a chance to take some interior pics today. I also cleared out the front turn signal using a technique I learned a while ago. I very light coat of heat resistant silver paint on the bulbs (it still lights amber).

Your X5 rocks! Any chance you can post some pics of it in sunny weather? We are looking at purchasing the exact same combo you got. I am currently using your first pic as desktop background. Thanks by the way! Great to have something to look at while waiting on one. If we place our order soon we will be looking at June delivery on a 2012. There aren't very many pics of this color that I can find. Hope you can help with some more.

Thank you for the nice words. Once we get some sunshine here, I definitely will take and post more pictures. I just bought a nice Circular Polarizing filter for the camera too that I hope will really capture the metallic colors.

Thank you. I hate talking about pricing. I think I got a good deal, considering my trade, the BMW lease specials at the time + the dealer chopped off a good portion of the MSRP. I negotiated everything over the course of a year, so plenty of time to negotiate.

Dan - I am a new member and can't PM you yet. I am interested in getting a decent deal on a X5 35D. Here in the DFW area, I can find any dealer taking less than $1500 over invoice.
