X5 E70 3.0L diesel DPF issues

I have replaced my DPF and sensor but am still getting the error message appear on my dash and scan.

Is there anything else I should be replacing or doing when replacing the DPF?

Didn't see a response to this and I have a similar issue and hoping for some experts to jump in... I paid to have the diesel particulate filter (DPF) taken off and cleaned on my 2012 X5 with about 155k miles. That work was done but the shop cannot get the service light or the Particulate Filter warning that comes on after driving a couple miles to stop. Its been 8 months. They have basically said they've done all they can and won't help anymore. BMW dealership was no help. Anyway to clear this? I'm in SoCal and happy to pay for this help.

Did you replace the differential pressure sensor?

If it hasn’t been replaced then yes. This is what will tell the DDE that the pressure before and after the dpf is OK. If you have a bad sensor then the DDE will think there’s a blockage. If you have a scan tool it’s a parameter that you should be able to find and look at

As far as I know the logic of the DPF sensor is to read the pressure at the exhaust manifold and the pressure after the DPF. This will tell it the DPF is blocked while running. When the engine stops it only has seconds for the DPF pressure sensor to match the reading of the intake manifold pressure sensor. If it does not then it logs a query with the DDE. So if your CEL light is coming on shortly after you start driving then you should check the pressures with a scan tool at your intake manifold sensor and your DPF sensor.
This will tell you if it needs to be replaced.
