lux angel eye install question

i just got around to installing my angel eyes on my 2011 X5M i can't seem to get the flat side of the lux to rotate so it faces up like the stock bulbs do. is this normal?

Nah, it isn't normal. I had ran into the same prob when I initially installed mine. Make sure that the 3 tabs are completely lined up, push in gently & turn at the sametime.....

it literally probably only turns about a 1/2 inch or so. they do feel secure in there i just got OCD and it was bugging me

You need to make sure the tabs are alll lined up first before rotating. The reason why yours is snub and on an angle is because two of the tabs are wedged in only.

I failed to mention that it took a while for me to get them locked into place. I've since been playing around with my temps so it got a lot easier to lock them in place.

The lights will not twist all the way on a X5m. You will just twist them until they are snug into place.
