X6 with 22" wheels

Hey guys, Im new to this forum and had a few questions. I have tried searching but havent found an exact answer yet. I have a 09 X6 that has 315x35x20 in rear and 275x40x20 in the front. I love the stance it has and the look with the meats on the rear. I am wanting to go with 22" wheels and want to stick with something close to that stance. i have seen a couple X6s with 315s all around that looks pretty good, but wasnt sure how they did the offsets to still give it a staggered look. i have also seen the optin for 335s in the back.. well thanks in advance. any advice or pictures are mutch appreciated

Im wondering about this also? The best sizes are 295 30 or 335 25 and the latter is not readily available for me in the UK, those that are prove very expensive compared to the 295 30.

The question is, with the staggered fitment on the X6, whats the impact of running 295 30 all round and will they look too skinny in the back?

Your car will not look right running 295s in the back. Since you'll be "stretching" the tire, it will likely look like a smaller diameter tire.

Also if you go 295 in front you'll be limited to all-season Pirelli Scorpions, if that matters to you.

I went with 265/35's in the front and rear on my 9.5" wide 22" diameter wheels. The wheels have a 35mm offset and they look perfect in the front. I used a 25mm spacer on the rears to bring the wheels close to flush with the fender.

I tried to get 10.5" wheels for the rears, but they are on a long back order for the 215 replica wheels so I went with the square setup all around.

I think it looks pretty normal, and still quite aggressive.

I like the 35-series tires as they give you more rubber between the wheel and the road, reducing the probability for damaging the wheels.

I went with 22" rims staggered 9.5 front and 10.5 rear with 285 30 r22 and 335 25 r22 Pirelli Scorpions and am very happy. I will probably get some spacers and lower it next. Ride is a little different at first, but after about a week, don't notice it anymore. Looks sick!

Greenjelley, wondering why you didn't go with the 295 fronts. I think that is the standard front tire spec for the upgraded 22 size. I am thinking about 285 fronts, but only because I want performance tires and the p-zeros, which are pretty much the only show in town for performance tires in our 22 size only come in 285 for the front. If I was doing P Scorpions I would do the 295's in front.

Ferrari, for the offsets on the 9.5 22s I have, the 285s are recommended. I wish the 295s were as it is nearly impossible to find the Scorpions in 285s. When I replace them, I will have to get the zeros which are double in price!

I feel for you, and from what I understand the 335's are an even worse pricing story in the P-Zero's. It's a shame they don't make more options in 21" and 22" for our trucks. All we get are RFT's, All-Seasons and the outerspace-priced P-Zeros (which don't come in 295's for our front spec).
