Any comments on this X5?

http://www.bmwcharlottesville.com/ce...91b3db0321.htm

I currently drive a 2003 4Runner but it is closing in on 200,000 miles and looking to upgrade into something closer to modern.

Any comments on this vehicle listed? Price, options? I've driven a few of these before but never paid attention to the options.

I was looking for a good radio. is the 'premium hifi' any good. I have a friend of has one with Band and Olufsen. This one I don't think has it.

Thanks guys and gals.

That truck does look nice, and it is packaged out. I don't think BMW got Bang and Olufsen until 2014 though...there should be three levels for your year: the standard, the premium, and the enhanced premium. I have the enhanced and it's ways better than I thought it would be. If you don't like the audio there is always Bavarian sound werks (BSW). Though they are a bit pricey, but plug and play for BMW is expensive. You thought about a higher mileage X5M? For the same price you could get an X5M, with 20k more miles though.

2012 & 2013 non-M X5's only offered 2 levels of sound - base (676A - HiFi) and Premium Sound (677A)...the 2 are hardly distinguishable. The big change came in 2012 when BMW dropped the base sound 645A from 2011 35i's and perhaps the 3.0 and 4.8 before that?, that was truly a terrible sound system. And yes, B&O not available on the E70, that's an F15 (2014+) option.

To OP (2013M3) - this X5 looks pretty well optioned, though certainly not 'loaded' as these guys came available with a lot of stuff. But, it has the essentials, including the Comfort Seats which is a must-have in the eyes of most forum members. There's another 50i on this forum listed for sale that is much better optioned (http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1330262) but it has another 50K+ miles on this one, otherwise I'd recommend it.

Titanium Silver over Tobacco is definitely a rare combination! Miles are low, so perhaps price is somewhat inline, but still seems a bit high to me given how poorly these vehicles retain value.

Edit - the sound system is has is the best BMW offered on 2013 non-M X5's - Premium Sound Package.

Thanks for clearing that up...My wife's 2008 3.0si has the base sound and it's kinda crappy...don't want to spend $700 on BSW though...that money goes to maintenance.

OP, did you end up test driving the truck? From a dealer and with CPO it's going to be expensive, but I'm sure you could talk them down if it's what you really want.
