Help with removing intake manifold and EGR on E70 N57

Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of removing my intake manifold as it's all gunked up and needs a proper clean.

I've managed to disconnect all the leads and hoses that are in the way and have the intake manifold looseish, but I can't remove it as it appears the EGR valve/cooler is locked into the block.

Does anyone have any advice on how to disconnect this without breaking anything? The hoses to the EGR are disconnected, but it's holding strong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Peter

The secondary EGR/transmission cooler is wedged in between the inlet manifold and block, sealed with an o-ring on either end. Release the two torx screws on the manifold and it will come free when the manifold is lifted.
