h8's are the bulb size

HID
pros: brightest of any options, cheap replacement parts, value

cons: light is so bright it tends to bleed, bulky install

LED
pros: perfect light output, small, clean install

cons: most expensive option, cheap ones tend to burn out

GP thunders
pros: cheap, different color from stock, simple install

con: low light output

What do you mean when you say "so bright it tends to bleed"?

The hids are so bright the rings tend to not look like rings at night.

And look up lux angel eyes. Best on the market but backordered and pricey($230)

I ordered the Lux bulbs but I'm seriously considering OSS. They look amazing . They blow all the rest out of the water, but I don't want to be without head lights for 2 - 3 weeks.

Your for sale thread states the LUX lights will fit e70 X5 but not the X5M. Is there a way to modify to get them to fit the X5M?

We are currently working on a change that should hopefully make them work for the X5m as well as the X6. we will have more information on this in the next 2-3 weeks.
