Wheel color

I've got a set of oem 300 wheels and looking to get them powdercoated, the car is sapphire black and I'm leaning towards ferric grey. Any thoughts out there.

Those look nice, better than stock grey but I'm trying for less chrome.

Here's a ton of different colors to powder coat wheels, you can either pick 1 color or mix match...since you're in NY I can hook you up with my buddy who does incredible work

Thanks, I've got my car with Frank @ Gabriel's right now. He's doing some touch ups as well as fixing the curb rash my awesome parking garage gave me while I pay them 430 a month to play bumper cars. I figured he should just refinish them while he's at it. I like satin anthracite or satin gun metal but he suggested a dark ghost chrome or shadow chrome because of the shadow line trim on the black sapphire.

Good choice that's who I was going to suggest you take your truck to...Frank does great work, he's done all my cars

Yea been using him for a while now. What do you think of his suggestion to do shadow or ghost chrome.

Honestly, Frank's been doing this for years and has a good eye on which color would look best on your truck BUT he will point you in the more expensive direction. I like the idea of the ghost against BSM but that's ultimately up to you brother...a few years ago I had my OE E46 M3 wheels powder coated hyper black(black chrome) and they looked amazing! Ask Frank about his dipping machine, you can create something unique for your wheels

This is a grey metallic..although plasti dip not powder coat. But gives you an idea about the grey'ish tone.

Thanks KSA, I have mine currently dipped in halo efx. I'm kinda sick of having to be so careful cleaning and maintaining. I did find the attached pic which is close to the shadow or ghost chrome

The picture you attached is very similar to what mine look like up close. About the cleaning, honestly, if you did enough coats (I did one can per rim), there shouldn't be any issues at all. I have taken mine through multiple high pressure car washes without any issues. I just let them dry for a few weeks properly without washing them initially.
