My cousin has everything you can imagine from vintage porsches, ferraris and alfas all the way up to modern Macan Turbo, RS5 etc. His daily? Mini Cooper S! Excellent cars and yours looks great!

The only good generation\model of Mini. That condition is an achievement that I have the utmost respect for. I don't know that, in your wife's shoes, I'd ask for or let you replace it either.

Looks well kept. And kudos to your wife for daily driving a three pedal vehicle for so long. Most women hate manuals, American women that is.

Wow! 11 years old and I would have never known as it doesn't look dated from the outside!

Mini Cooper is the type of car that transcends many financial budgets.

Nice garage flooring BTW

Thx! - actually purchased Dec 2003 (model year 2004) so 13+ years old

Garage floor is Swiss Trax - heres a link to a recent clean-up (post-house reconstruction) I posted elsewhere if you'd like to see more close-ups

Nice, that is fantastic for 14 years!

Luckily you don't live here, a 14 year old Mini here would be a complete rust bucket.

Just shy of 70K I think (would need to check!) - we lived fairly close to her work location as opposed to my current situation. Also tended to use my ride whenever we did long trips or just headed out somewhere so it was used a lot less.

Indeed no sea air nor road salt to deal with in it's life to date

Not sure how long you've been married, but in case you were ever in doubt she's a "keeper".

Car looks amazing, but that's the first thing I looked for scrolling through first few photos.

Thought I'd share something of similar vintage. Dad's baby. 12 years old, 30k miles on the clock and 4 coats of wax courtesy of yours truly. Hard to see but custom rounded with his initials instead of BMW. Also courtesy of yours truly.

Very cool indeed! Reminds me that I miss my wagons, had an E46 and an E91 3 series sport wagon that I looked after pretty well - incredibly utilitarian and yet fun to drive cars

This cannot be over 12 years...!

If your wife looks younger than she really as the car appears to be, you are very lucky.

You are already lucky to have such an understanding and car loving wife as is.

Thanks for posting the photos.

I love these Mini, first generation of the NeoRetro design...
