Tracking New X5 Build

Has anyone been able to track online their build yet for a 2011 X5? I registered on BMWUSA but cannot track my build yet. I think my car has a build date of April 15. Thanks!

I've been able to track mine through BMWUSA. My production week is 16. My production number starts with 7557XXX.

Did you get a production number from your Client Advisor?

Yeah, I have the production number but it doesn't seem to work. I was thinking maybe it's too early?

Checked one more time and it finally works. Says its scheduled for production. If my dealer's info was right, it'll start this week!

Fremont BMW. They were really helpful. They were able to hook me up with the 20" wheels for the M package even though it wasn't an option on their computers when ordering my car.

$0 for the upgraded wheels! That's why i was trying to push them to get them added to my order. Strange that it wasn't showing up on their order form yet.

I can't believe it, my car is said to be at the Preparation Center already! They must have got a jump start on my build. Maybe only 1-2 more weeks til I get my car?

what was the upgrade from? the base 18's or zap? Im amazed they could do that... Its possible they may be swapping your wheels from their parts dept not via order from BMW but I cant see them not charging you.

yeah, not charging for premium wheels is a shock to me especially from a dealership in the bay area.

It's just an option when you get the M package. You can either get the 19" wheels with all season tires or else the 20" wheels. I checked it twice to make sure there was no charge and sure enough all the brochures as well as my dealer confirmed that the 20" is a no charge upgrade.

The 20" wheels (style 333M) are only available with the M Sport Pkg and the upcharge is $950. If you ordered a 2011 X5 M Sport and they did not charge you for the upgraded 20" wheels, you got a great deal!
