The bolt recall was for Vanos, I got that replaced due to my car going into reduced power.
The other posters were spot on, it's the driveshaft bolts that go bad, and when they go, well they go. You can inspect 1 day, then the next it goes. |

As times goes on, less and less will be on the road. The damage they cause when they fail though, that makes no sense in not fixing it rather than inspections.

Got the car back today, left BMW went about 10 miles, and it drove like a dream. Then transmission started going crazy, and reduced engine power. Messed with some, re started, etc. Nothing, back on the tow truck...
