E70 X5 2011 engine Replacment with 2014 N55

Hey guys so I have a 2011 BMW X5 N55 engine that has gone bad (spun bearing). I have the opportunity to get a Free N55 from a 2014 X5 with only 45,000km on it. I went to take a look at the engine and besides the Electronic wastegate on the turbo and the oil cooler line fittings on OFH it's look just about the same. I checked my block which is already removed and it's stamped exactly same thing as the 2014 block N55B30A. Can anyone chime in and let me know IF these 2 blocks are compatible? Most of my accessories from my 2011 X5 are new so I would be transferring them over either way. I have read HPFP, the injectors and the splines on the crank hub aren't the same but that's all transferable I guess ? Let me know if anyone has successfully used a later gen X5 block and what would need to be done exactly thanks.

Did you ever move forward with this? We have a 2011 with a spun rod bearing and wondering about putting newer engine in it as well.
