X5 system bootup and rear view camera

I bought my X5 in May. My only complaint is that the onboard computer system takes so long to boot up (including that totally ridiculous legal warning) that I have already backed up and started forward well before the rear view camera is activated. I've taken it to the dealership in Santa Fe and thus far they have been unhelpful. I complained about it in the post-purchase survey, was contacted by some drone in New York who could only tell me to contact the local service manager --- done and redone. Is there anyone at BMW corporate to contact about this? Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

If you can work iDrive, you can figure out how to use the search feature on this forum. The topic has been beat to death.
